Enemies like the Mistress of Ceremonies and Fanatic already needed to be nerfed in order to balance them for normal, I dread to think how awful they would be if their numbers were buffed. I'm also a bit hesitant to request a hard mode, since there are so many instances of games where hard just means buffing enemy numbers or nerfing yours rather than fine-tuning balance to make a challenging but fair experience.
